Homeview is a mid-century neighborhood close to downtown Belmont, near Twin Pines Park and the Belmont Caltrain station. It's mostly 1950s ranches and split-levels, with some duplexes and small multifamily buildings mixed in, and most of its streets are dead ends, so there's very little through traffic and the blocks stay quiet. Along with neighboring Sterling Downs, it's one of Belmont's most competitive markets, with homes selling for about 108% of asking on average in 2025.
Parking & walkability: Most single-family homes have a driveway and an attached garage. The multifamily buildings add some cars to the street, so parking can be tighter on those blocks, though the dead-end streets keep outside traffic away. Twin Pines Park, the library, downtown Belmont's restaurants and the Caltrain station are within walking distance of much of the neighborhood, and El Camino and Ralston Avenue make it easy to get to 101 and 280.
