Burlingame Village is one of two north Burlingame neighborhoods, along with Ray Park, built during and just after World War II on the former Darius Ogden Mills estate. After the Mills estate sold its private airstrip to the City of San Francisco, the Village became home to many people working at the fast-growing airport. It was first called “Village Park” for its winding streets and cul-de-sacs, and it includes north Burlingame's first park, Village Park. Only about 4 to 8 homes sell here each year, so medians swing, but it's been one of Burlingame's strongest performers: the median rose about 75% from 2015–16 to 2024–25, well ahead of the city's 46%, and 2025 sales closed at about 117% of asking.
Parking & walkability: Most homes have a driveway and a garage, and street parking is generally easy on the residential blocks. Broadway's shops and restaurants are a short drive or bike ride away, and Highway 101, SFO and the Millbrae BART and Caltrain station are all close by.
