Living in Isle Cove
Isle Cove is Foster City's official Neighborhood #9, one of T. Jack Foster's original nine, and its streets are named after the stars and constellations sailors once used to navigate at night. It includes the Isle Cove complex, built in the mid-1970s with more than 200 units, along with Shell Cove, the Edgewater townhomes and a smaller number of 1970s single-family homes. Condos and townhomes make up about four out of five sales, and they've been in demand: 2025 sales closed at about 109% of asking, with a 2026 median so far around $1.55M.
Parking & walkability: Condo and townhome complexes include assigned or garage parking, with guest parking more limited in some complexes. Single-family homes have attached garages. The neighborhood is flat, with lagoon-side paths close by, and everyday shopping is a short walk or bike ride for much of the area. Highway 92 and Highway 101 are a few minutes away.

Borders are built lot by lot from the county's property lines and where homes have been listed (MLS neighborhood codes), and stay inside official city limits (dashed), so a home or two along an edge may differ from official MLS lines.
