Millwood Millbrae, CA
A small west Millbrae neighborhood with single-family homes and condos.
Living in Millwood
Millwood was once the land of a few flower-growing families who supplied the San Francisco and Peninsula market; Ludeman Lane and Cozzolino Drive are named for growers. The land was sold off gradually, and postwar tracts of ranch, two-story and split-level homes appeared soon after Millbrae incorporated in 1948. In 1968 a proposed freeway connecting SFO to Highway 280 would have replaced quiet Millwood Drive, but it was never built. Today it's a mix of single-family homes and condos: single-family homes sold at about 110% of asking on average in 2025, and condos had a 2025 median around $1.01M.
Parking & walkability: Single-family homes typically have a garage and a driveway, and condo complexes include assigned parking. Downtown Millbrae is a short drive, and Highway 280 is close by.

Borders are built lot by lot from the county's property lines and where homes have been listed (MLS neighborhood codes), and stay inside official city limits (dashed), so a home or two along an edge may differ from official MLS lines.
